Utilizing Your Entire Music Library-How to Put the Music into the Computer

Before a person begins to organize their music and have it available at a touch of a button, they should check and see if they have the right things to get started: a computer with a hard drive, a CD burner, and the broadband Internet connection. Any computer will work, unless an excuse is needed to get a new one. If so, make sure the computer has a CD burner. If the old one will hang on for awhile, purchase a cheap CD burner and have someone hook it up for you – like the teenage son or daughter who is quite adept at this sort of thing.

Make sure your Internet connection is fast – because it is an extremely crucial step. Broadband is better than dial-up, so talk with your Internet provider to make sure you have the one you want and need. When it is ready, download the software to start your organizing. Many people recommend iTunes for the beginners, as it will still rip, burn, download, organize, search, and most of all …collect the music. It is an Apple product, but works through both PCs and Macs, and is a basic simple procedure program. Once the download is finished, it will take care of itself. Put a CD in the computer, and let it run on its own. Instantly, the software should do the work – the CD should recognize itself, list the track information along with the names of each track. The option of importing the music of the CD to your computer will be offered to you. Just do what it says.

The format window will come up, with a request to you. If possible, choose MP3 192vbr as the perfect balance between saving space and sound quality. The thing to remember is not to be afraid – step into it and take practice shots. Dabble around and practice ripping tunes with your own CDs until all the tracks are on the computer. The sound of the music on the computer will be different than through your stereo. You many, or may not, enjoy it as usually work is done on the computer. And if you are a beginner, make a play list on the new jukebox. More songs will fit on the new computer than on the purchased CD.

A few things to consider:
1. What format are the songs going to be in when you put them on your digital audio player? For instance, if all the files you are going to put on your player are downloaded and in MP3 format, then you'll get about half as many downloaded to your player as you would if the files were WMA. If you are simply going to rip your CDs to your computer and then sync with your player then make sure the player is WMA compatible.

2. Based on the type of music you listen to, about how long are the types of songs you listen to? Some of us love eighties metal bands, but some Metallica songs far exceed the seven or eight minute mark and most manufacturer specifications for how many songs you can fit on a hard or flash drive player are based on four minute song length. You may get less than you bargained for if you don't do your research.

3. How long do you plan on spending to rip the songs to your computer before syncing? If you are like most people, you buy some albums for all the songs, but most of the time, you buy for just a couple of really good tracks. The more time you spend selecting the tracks to put on your player instead of ripping the whole thing, could save you a lot of space for just the songs that you like or will listen to.

Consider all of the above and you will get the most out of your music library. If you get the most out of your music library then you'll love your new digital audio player.

Video Splitter, Distribution Amplifier, or Booster Amplifier

A lot of speculation has been going on between the difference in a video splitter, a distribution amplifier, and a booster amplifier. First, we'll start off with distribution amplifiers. This term has been used to describe video devices that split older video signals like composite, component, and s-video video formats. The term amplifier is used because many of the units have the capability of amplifying video signals to a higher frequency, allowing for a better resolution output quality. Distribution amplifiers are also available in a multi-format solution, providing video splitter/amplifying for several different devices. Component/composite video can be connected in RCA and BNC formats. Distribution amplifiers are available in 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 16 port models, allowing user to distribute component, composite, and s-video signals to up to 16 televisions or other outputs.

Booster amplifiers are often compared to video extenders. They take a video signal much like the distribution amplifiers does (composite, component, s-video), and amplify it over a long distance. Booster amplifiers have gain adjustment features that allow users to control to output frequency of connected video devices. With that feature, extension is made simple without signal degradation. A typical booster amplifier can send a video signal up to 1000 feet away from the source device. These types of devices are are highly useful, however the video formats that they support are becoming less frequently used with the development of high definition media formats. CATx video distribution systems are taking over the market and reducing the need for bulky component, composite, and S-video cables which are often a hassle to set up and maintain.

Video splitters, on the other hand, are for PC and high quality television video formats like VGA, DVI, and HDMI.

VGA Splitters take VGA, UXGA, SVGA, and XGA video signals from computers and servers and split them to multiple outputs, theyíre available in 2, 4, 8, and 16 port formats.

Also available are DVI Splitters, which split analog and digital Digital Visual Interface video signals from different devices. DVI splitters are only available in 2, 4, and 8 port models.

The most recent addition to the video splitting technology is the HDMI Video Splitter, which distributes HDMI (High Definition MultiMedia Interface) signals to multiple output displays. These splitters are useful for gaming consoles, computers, camcorders, DVD players, Blu-Ray players, and even projectors. With high definition taking over video technology, these splitters are becoming more and more common in digital signage solutions.

Nowadays the terms Video Splitter and Distribution Amplifier are used almost interchangeably, with the latter becoming more out dated as time progresses. Regardless, KVM Equipment provides a wide variety of video splitters, distribution amplifiers, and booster amplifiers. A shopping guide of choosing the ipod

When you are shopping to get a new Ipod on Ebay, here are some tips and characteristics of the many Ipods listed for auction. By using this guide, you'll learn what's worth the money, or what's not. Simply scroll down the list until you spot the Ipod your looking for. Then read the description, pros and cons, and make up your own mind. The recomendations are based off of customer feedback on certain models and the defects or problems have been painstakingly researched. Good luck with your next purchase!

1st Gen Ipod:On October 23, 2001, the first generation Ipod was released. Although smaller in weight and size than a ordinary harddrive, the original 5 and 10 gig Ipods were scheduled to make history. They had four player control buttons around the cener scroll wheel. Although a breakthrough for their time, the first gen Ipods are bulky and don't store that many songs(compatibility with PC is an issue) on their harddrives, therefore, buying one of these isNOT RECOMENDED(most do not work or are damaged after so many years of playing).

2nd Gen Ipod: The second generation featured many of the characteristics of the first gen Ipods, with the button and control layouts being the same, but several advancements were made with a better equalizer, battery, harddrive, and screen. It was the largest MP3 player of it's kind at the time, but software compatibility with Pc was still a problem. Again, it is NOT RECOMENDEDthat you buy the second gen. due to such flaws (PC incompatibility)and the likely probability that the Ipod is nearing the end of it's life(rechargeable batteries won't hold charge).

3rd Gen Ipod:The third gen featured a new layout, with four touch-sensitive player controls and a touch sensitive scroll wheel in the center. It featured a similar 10 or 20 gig configuration, with some models having 30 gig hard drives. There were a few rare models with etched names on the back (example:Tony Hawk, Madonna, etc.) which can be considered collector items. It featured newer software, which was finally recognized on SOME and not all PC's. Third gens are risky when it comes to buying them used, however, some customers are really satisfied with them. It is up to you whether or not it is worth buying a third gen (batteries still hold quite a bit of charge) and they tend to be in alright condition, however, some models have short circuits in the player buttons and scroll wheel that renders them useless, so BE CAREFUL while shopping.

4th Gen Ipod: The next in the series is the fourth gen. The first few fourth gens were still unreliable when it came to compatibility, but later on, they formed an alliance with HP(Hewlett Packard) to make the Apple/HP Ipod which was compatible with all Windows based computers. It featured a larger harddrive with 20, 40, and 60 gig packages available. It also featured a new click wheel which incorperated all player controls into the central wheel, giving the Ipod a more condensed look without all the buttons taking up space. The U2 version was released in honor of the band and it's unique black and red cover makes it a true collectible item. Overall, this is the most common Ipod you can find, and some can be in rather bad condition, so BE CAREFUL (batteries tend to hold good charge and player tends to work properly). http://www.papatek.com/USB-Wireless-LAN-Adapter/

Ipod Photo: The first ever color screen Ipod that came in 60 and 80 gig packages. It was compatible with all Windows based PC's and it allowed the user to download and view full color images in a slide show. Had the same layout as the fourth gen Ipod with the click wheel. Great battery life and wonderful customer feedback. RECOMENDED, though you must watch out for a couple of abused or damaged ones (great battery life and normally in great condition with only slight scratches).

Ipod Video: Just released widescreen Ipod that let's users download and watch video on their Ipod. Comes in 30 and 60 gig configurations, now with a color choice of white or black (older Ipods were always white, except for certain special editions). You can also download pictures as well, making it able to complete all tasks of previous Ipods. Compatible with all Windows based PC's with fully compatible software as well. RECOMENDED (too new to have major defects). Battery life is full with no known defects. Definately a customer favorite.

Ipod Mini 1st Gen: The Ipod mini came shortly after the release of the fourth gen Ipod. It had 4 gigs of RAM(random access memory) chipsets rather than a harddrive, which made it lighter and smaller. It had a metal case which came in several metallic paint schemes. It housed the same clickwheel as the fourth gen Ipod and it had the same Windows compatible software as the Ipod fourth gen. Overall, this Ipod is very common and is liked by most customers. BE CAREFUL while shopping for these, because some can be damaged or abused by the user. Batteries still hold rather good charge. A good Ipod to have. http://www.papatek.com/Cell-Phone-Accessories/

Ipod Mini 2nd Gen: The 2nd gen Ipod mini featured 8 gigs of RAM memory while still maintaining it's lightweight, compact design. It featured the same metal body with metallic paint schemes and the same clickwheel. Basically, they just modified the memory chips of the Ipod 1st gen and called it the second gen.RECOMENDED, because only a few of these were made after the 1st gen Mini. Batteries still hold good charge and it is compatible with all Windows based PC's.

Ipod Nano: The replacement of the Ipod mini. It houses 4 gigs of RAM memory in its razor thin body. It features a color screen which allowes you to view album art and other color pictures. It also comes in two colors, white and black (like the Ipod Video). Features the click wheel like it's older cousin the Ipod Mini. RECOMENDED, because of it's relative newness to the market and it's lack of known problems. Since the Nano is rather new, the batteries charge fully and it is fully compatible with Windows based PC's. http://www.papatek.com/LCD-Panel/

Ipod Shuffle: Stripped down version of the Ipod. It has no screen, no clickwheel, and no harddrive. Instead, it is shaped like a pocket drive with the USB plug built into the Ipod, so you just plug the whole thing into the computer to upload songs and charge the battery(runs off of computer's powered USB port). It has flash memory, a chipset similar to ram that stores music files. It comes in 512mb or 1 gig packages and the player controls are mounted near the top of the Ipod in the form of buttons. Unlike the Nano or Video Ipods, it only comes in white, and is good for those who don't have lots of music to store. RECOMENDED because of it's ease of use and relative newness to the market. So far, no problems have been found with this new flash system. A favorite to many customers.

Sony KDL-52EX700 HDTV Article

It's got the thin great looks Sony is counting on to impress with its great brightness around the showroom floor. In this evaluation we delve deeply into the inner beauty of the Television as well to evaluate regardless of whether the internal processing and output match the aesthetics. The EX700 series ranks right in the center of the pack in Sony's 2010 lineup with regards to feature offerings and price.

HQV Processor Testing: After watching several brief video content highlights we thought the processor was going to pass our tests without having a hitch. Turns out the brightness and nice color rendition of the image fooled us. Overall, the EX700 performed poorly in movie processor testing. I guess they saved the finest stuff for their higher end TVs including the HX900. Obvious jaggies, moire', shimmy effects, judder, and dithering have been apparent on many tests – all signs of a struggling processing engine. The a single exceptional performance was inside the movie resolution loss test. Interestingly though Sony has named the video chip sets for this Tv the new Bravia Engine three, we decided that the video processor inside the EX700 ought to at least be exactly like the XBR9, since the testing was identical with weaknesses and strengths in the exact same places.

480i content appeared a little soft but stable and color rendition was accurate and not oversaturated. The LED backlit Television seemed to overcome lots of the setbacks from a weak processor when viewing video articles. Black levels are powerful throughout all articles. Among the finest characteristics of this Television is exceptional dark shadow detail popping off of strong black ranges.

Image edges from HD content material had been crisp, clean and detailed. The LED backlight and intense black degree seem to assist images in 3 dimensional impact. Shadow detail is superb with HD articles too. Regardless what articles is displayed there's quick degradation of black amounts and contrast from side viewing angles beginning at 15 degrees. Color info was rich but no overpowering with HD articles. I enjoyed the image very much from in the forefront and was unable to pick up the processing problems the Tv displayed in HQV testing.

Black Level/Contrast/Contrast Ratio: Black levels had been stout and measured .026 to .029 around the IRE scale giving the Television a higher post calibration contrast ratio of 1570:1. The black amounts carried via to scenes from both HD and 480i content. As mentioned below, side angle viewing will diminish contrast appearance.

Dark Shadow Detail: Fantastic shadow detail is often a winning characteristic with the EX700. The Television showed tremendous definition in dark areas of suits, clothing, and in all dimly lit scenes.

Viewing Angle/Off Axis Viewing: We suspect Sony's new edge lit LED lighting to be the prime suspect behind the poor off axil viewing angle. Regardless what articles is displayed there is quick degradation of black amounts and contrast from side viewing angles beginning at 15 degrees. It's not extreme but does have an impact. Contrast continues to degrade to around 30 degrees where it stabilizes all the way to 45 degrees. Viewing is feasible from extreme side angles due to the high brightness and anti glare screen of the Television.

Using a static gray screen shown there was obvious horizontal light banding from the edge lit LED back lights. The irregularities in back lighting revealed themselves every once in awhile when viewing content material as well.

There was some jerkiness and judder effect in scenes panning lateral even with the 120Hz rate Motionflow element on standard setting.

General this function is viable around the EX700 series. Whilst this feature detracts from the picture good quality with most TVs available in the market, it enhances PQ inside the EX700. The element does not introduce unwelcome video background noise as with most others. We suggest the Standard setting. Additional points to Sony for creating a Hz rate feature that actually improves the image even during film. There was still judder occurrence, but the element reduced it.

You can find 27 various channels of different primarily proprietary Bravia Internet Video clips which includes highlights Netflix, Youtube, Sony Pictures, DailyMotion. The Windows Vista and WIndows 7 computers on our network picked up the EX700 right away for file sharing with no a hitch.

Kindle is out of stock again in 2008. But there are other places you can buy one from if you have your heart set on it. Oh and did you know that Oprah has just named Kindle as her "Favorite Thing"? She loves it.

But first, let me do a product review of Kindle Ebook Reader so you have my opinion of the device.

One downside I would say is that you can only download 200 books, but that can be fixed by buying a little memory card, then it can hold up to 4000 books.

I think the best benefit of the Kindle is that it is small and light (it weighs only 10.3 ounces) and it will hold, electronically, 200 books. Just imagine being on a trip overseas and being able to have all your newspapers, blogs, magazines and books available on this one, easy to read, lightweight device. No more carrying heavy books while traveling.

If you are a Mom, finding time to read can be so difficult, but with Kindle you can take it with you when dropping children off to school and activities, you can read while waiting for Dr's and Dentists and really start to utilize those tiny bits of extra time efficiently.

If your eyesight is not so good, Kindle allows you to adjust the text size to your own preference. No more having to hunt out large sized text books. It's great keyboard also allows you to highlight parts of the books, clip text, edit and delete and to save parts of the text for later examination or study.

Kindle works wirelessly through the 3G network, so you wont have any Wi-Fi bills to pay. When you order a book it is delivered to your Kindle in less than 1 minute. And, for those of us who are electronically challenged it's very simple to use.

Did you know you can also surf the web, send emails and pictures and email word documents.

I love the fact that Kindle allows you to download and preview the beginnings of books FREE so you can decide if the book is one you want to read. I always do this when buying a book in a bookshop and I'm sure you do too.

Oh, just in case you didn't know, Kindle is also a MP3 player and an Audio Book Reader.

The only other downside that I can see with Kindle is maybe its battery life, but if you buy a spare battery then that will be taken care of.

I would highly recommend the Kindle.

The typical modern Electric Bass Guitar comes in one of three types; the classic four strings, five strings or six strings. Just so you know, there are Electric Basses with more than six strings which are usually custom made Basses played by Bass afficionados, so to speak. The difference between these Basses are the number of strings, obviously, the size of the neck (the very long section of the Electric Bass Guitar...more strings usually require wider necks.), the tonal range and of course the costs.

For the purpose of this article, we will be taking a look at the three most common types of the Electric Bass Guitar. The four string Electric Bass Guitar plays in the range of E-A-D-G with E being the fourth string and the G being the first. The five string Electric Bass Guitar extends the lower end of the classic four string Electric Bass from E-A-D-G to a low B-E-A-D-G with B being the fifth string and G being the first. The six strings Electric Bass Guitar has a sixth string that plays in the upper register and extends the range of the four and five string Electric Bass Guitar from B-E-A-D-G to B-E-A-D-G-C with B being the sixth string and C being the first. This type of Bass is the choice of Bass soloists.

Bass Parts

The Head is the section of the Electric Bass Guitar where you will find the Tuning Keys/Machines which are, usually, arrayed in different positions which corresponds to the number of strings a Bass has.

The Nut is located between the Head stock and the Neck. This acts as a guide for the strings as they run along the fingerboard to the individual tuning machines. If you damage the Nut it is a pain to get repaired or replaced, though this rarely ever happens.

The Neck is the long section of the Electric Bass Guitar which comprises the finger board and frets. There are short scale and long scale versions of the Neck.

The Body is the section of the Bass which holds the Pickups, the Tone controls, and the Bridge.

Tuning the Bass

Getting the Electric Bass Guitar in tune is quite easy. You can use the assistance of a guitar player. If you do, have the guitar player play the G note on the third fret of the sixth string (this is the biggest string on the guitar.)

The next option is to use a keyboard and tune from the low note to the high note. On the four string Bass this would be E-A-D-G; on the five string Bass this would be B-E-A-D-G; on the six string Bass this would be B-E-A-D-G-C. There are other ways to tune the Bass such as using a tuning fork or other electronic tuning aid. Also, the more proficient you become with the Electric Bass Guitar you will learn how to tune by ear. A great website to checkout is tunemybass.com which offers a lot of technical assistance for both Bass and Guitar players. I recommend bookmarking this site for future reference.

And now...the fun part...jammin'.

Reggae Bass

Now that your Bass Guitar is in tune, it's time to do some jammin' reggae style.

Reggae music is characterized by a heavy drum and bass rhythm. The bass can be played on or around the drum beat. By this I mean to let the Kick Drum be your guide, try to build a bass rhythm around it. One way to get an Idea is to listen to a few reggae tunes and get a feel for the rhythm. The popular website youtube has plenty of videos on reggae bass playing, so check it out.

The Bass of choice to play reggae is usually the Fender Jazz Bass Guitar for its fat bottom end. Of course, you can use whatever Bass you choose.

The right hand (plucking hand) positioning is important when playing a reggae rhythm. The notes are played on top of the lower end of the neck at just about the last three frets. The result of this approach is a consistently fat low end.

Now you are ready to go jam your heart out to some wick'd reggae beats.

Touch Sesitive

Why are my nipples sesitive.?

My nipples are sensitive to the touch if my arm rubs them or someone rubs up against them etc. But its not a painful sensitivity. I cant explain it. but there is not paina t all. Also i have lots of yellow gelatin looking discharge when i wipe and i feel it. Some times it feels like a period. There is no odor and it looks healthy. I do not have a regular period but i had one not to long ago. Me and my bf had sex and my period came on. It stayed on a week and we had sex 3 more times. I been feeling nausous but it will be very slight and then go away. I havent throwing up or felt as sick to where i have to throw up. I am also hungry alot.

Are you wanting us to tell you it sounds like you're pregnant??? Ok there, it does. Now go to the doctor and don't rely on people from yahoo answers to diagnose you.
